i hate neglecting this blog so i thought i would post an extremely late outfit post from dominican instead of leaving my blog unattended. i love this outfit because it was so affordable but at the same time it incorporates all of my favourite spring trends. nude/coral colour-blocked skirt plus white crochet top plus neon bag equals perfection. many apologies for my wannabe beach hair...

feels like summer

the sun was shining on this beautiful sunday and i took full advantage of it by basking by the (empty) pool.  i think this type of outfit is will be my go-to summer uniform; denim shorts, loose racer back tanks, ray-bans and something to go throw on top if i'm going out.

pictures from the snow patrol/ed sheeran concert. to be honest i'm much more of an ed sheeran fan but snow patrol was amazing as well! highlight of the night was definitely meeting ed sheeran, he's such a sweetheart. and the other highlight was dancing, screaming and singing the night away with my best friend mady (her beautiful blog).

my pinterest is only a few weeks old but already i have developed a strong love of this website.  as my blog on tumblr is always ever changing, i have lots of beautiful pictures all over my dash that just don't fit in with my blog. now with pinterest i can still keep my favourite pictures near to my heart and always available to be glanced at for inspiration or dreaming.

my absolute favourite thing about pinterest is that you can organize your pictures onto different "boards". there is something in me that strives for perfection and organization (excluding my room which quite honestly resembles a sample sale) so i hate when a picture looks out of place. now i will never have to fret that a street style picture doesn't look right next to a beautiful ocean view.

weekend wear

jeans - j brand / shirt - wilfred free / vest - j crew / necklace - forever 21

during the school week this simple outfit would have been perfect for school but when the weekend comes its time to bring out the fun.  this statement necklace from forever 21 is the perfect "the-weekends-here-and-you-bullies-from-school-can't-judge-me-anymore" piece and instantly adds some jazz and pizazz to any outfit.

while i have been spotting (pun-intended) the original stiletto leopard jeans all over town (well only in the cool areas) my heart lies with the pale pink version.  they are printed but not too loud, coloured but not too bright and unbelievably comfortable. what more could you ask for in a pair of jeans?
